Hatfield’s Karen McMillan nominated for the 2021 Women’s Infrastructure Network’s Outstanding Leader Award

Hatfield is pleased to announce the nomination of Karen McMillan, Senior Manager in the Infrastructure and Environmental Management Group (IEM), for the 2021 Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN) Outstanding Leader Award. This award recognizes a woman who has distinguished herself in both her profession and within the infrastructure sector and has demonstrated a strong ability to guide and inspire others through their leadership, achievement, and mentorship.
With more than 18 years of experience supporting environmental management in the infrastructure sector, Karen is an experienced and highly competent environmental professional and is a key leader at Hatfield. As one of the first female Senior Managers in the IEM Group, Karen has led numerous environmental studies and assessments and has managed large multi-disciplinary and complex projects in British Columbia. In addition, Karen is a significant driver of growth and development within Hatfield and provides guidance and leadership for both junior and senior level staff in the company.
Women’s Infrastructure Network is a dynamic program designed for women in infrastructure to help facilitate connections and networking, exchange ideas, and help shape the infrastructure agenda. The program has had great success since its inception in 2015, and continues to celebrate women who have been making significant and meaningful contributions to infrastructure in Canada and abroad.
