At the Canadian Ecotoxicity Workshop (www.ecotoxcan.ca) in Vancouver, BC from October 1-3, Hatfield’s Dr. Ben Beall will present our ongoing work with the Capital Regional District to assess the effects of Greater Victoria’s municipal sewage discharges on marine finfish and shellfish health and tissue quality.

Hatfield has been a long-term supporter and active sponsor of CEW, which is the preeminent Canadian conference focused on environmental toxicology. This year’s CEW focuses on the application of science to actions that maintain our natural ecosystems in a world faced with growing human demands for food, water, land, energy and other products.
