Hatfield selected as one of Canada’s Top Small and Medium Employers 2024

Hatfield is honoured to be selected as one of Canada’s Top Small and Medium Employers (SME) for 2024. This award recognizes small and medium businesses that leave the biggest mark when it comes to creating better workplaces for Canadians, offering the nation’s best work environments and forward-thinking human resources policies. This includes the ability to adopt initiatives faster, especially those based on employee feedback, and the willingness to implement progressive initiatives to make a better workplace for their employees. This award also recognizes organizations that are trendsetters and risk takers on important initiatives like paid time-off, flexible hours and hybrid work environments, as well mental health programs and support. We are thrilled to have won this year’s award, along with an impressive group of Canadian businesses.
Canada’s Top SME Award is based on a rigorous selection process that includes a comprehensive review of eight important criteria, including physical workplace, work atmosphere, health and family benefits, vacation and time-off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development, and community involvement. The SME category includes any commercial, for-profit business that has fewer than 500 employees worldwide.
Our selection as one of Canada’s Top SME 2024, as well as our recent selection as one of BC’s Top Employers 2024, would not be possible without the remarkable group of people that make up Hatfield.
