Hatfield Wins Monitoring Contract in Christina Lake Area

Hatfield Consultants continues to grow its business in northern Alberta and was recently awarded a contract to provide hydrological monitoring services to a large oil and gas company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Hatfield will establish and monitor 19 long-term monitoring sites to support winter water withdrawals from lakes in the Christina Lake area. The scope of work includes monitoring lake levels prior, during, and after withdrawals to ensure minimum lake levels are maintained during the withdrawal period. Monitoring results will be submitted to Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development (AESRD) to meet the water diversion license requirements provided to the Calgary company.
AESRD is a branch of the Government of Alberta and a partner in protecting and enhancing the Provinces natural environment, to ensure the continued enjoyment of a clean and healthy environment by all.
