Jasmin started her career at Hatfield in 2006 as a co-op student and was happily moved into a full-time position when her term ended. Jasmin spent a lot of time working in the field, mainly on metal mining, pulp and paper, and oil sands projects. In 2012, Jasmin picked up and moved to Alberta to help manage Hatfield’s Fort McMurray office and a wide range of projects in the oil sands region. With over 15 years of experience, she has managed a wide range of environmental monitoring and assessment projects for oil sand operations, metal mines, pulp and paper mills, and coal mines. Jasmin is skilled at managing, resourcing, and implementing large-scale field programs. Her project work has always been in aquatic ecology, with a focus on fisheries and water quality. Jasmin became a Partner in 2019, extending her corporate management contribution, which includes her role as Hatfield’s Health & Safety Coordinator and Deputy Quality Manager.
Outside of work, Jasmin enjoys spending time outdoors with her family including camping and fishing (both open water and ice fishing!). She also enjoys snowboarding, drinking wine, and keeping fit by participating in volleyball and Zumba.
