Brett is an Environmental Toxicologist specializing in human health and ecological risk assessments, aquatic and marine toxicology, toxicity identification evaluations, and environment impact assessments. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in environmental toxicology and is a Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio) with the BC College of Applied Biology. Brett has extensive experience working with clients in the mining, oil and gas, transportation, and construction industries developing site-specific water quality targets to support successful project delivery. Through these permitting projects, he has experience developing and executing environmental effects monitoring programs, as well as associated trigger action response plans and adaptive management plans, to provide the necessary supporting data to validate the effectiveness of environmental controls and provide mitigation planning for unforeseen circumstances. He has also completed numerous human health and ecological risk assessments that have supported permitting associated with project planning, operations, and site closure requirements for a variety of properties in the mining, oil and gas, shipping, and construction/development industries. Brett has helped his clients navigate regulatory requirements in Canada, the United States, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom.
In his free time, Brett enjoys kickboxing, board sports, biking, and exploring the west coast with his fiancé Kristen and dog Cosmo.
