Bambang is a senior environmental and natural resources management specialist. He specializes in environmental and social impact assessment, environmental and social due diligence, environmental and social governance (ESG), safeguards planning and implementation, project planning and management, and forest climate change issue/REDD+. He has led and designed several ESIA and environmental studies throughout Indonesia and in different sectors, including forestry, mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, and agriculture.
He is familiar with IFC Performance Standards, World Bank Environmental and Social Standards, among others. He has designed and led projects funded by ADB, World Bank, KfW, UN organizations, DANIDA, and MCA Indonesia. Those projects related to watershed management, livelihood improvement and capacity building, forestry, REDD+, green investment, and biodiversity conservation. He has developed ESMFs (environmental and social management framework) for both private and public sector clients.
Bambang has strong analytical, communication, and writing skills. He completes reports that are concise, provide contextual analysis, substantive reportage of key and relevant issues, and provide clear analysis supporting recommendations. He also has strong managerial and leadership skills, business development, and management systems. He previously served as the President Director for PT Hatfield Indonesia from 2006 to 2019.
