Hatfield’s hydrologists have extensive experience characterizing climate and streamflow conditions. We’re experts in designing, implementing, and managing local and regional monitoring networks. Our monitoring programs are used to characterize baseline conditions, assess water availability, inform modelling, and address permitting requirements. We ensure the integrity of our clients’ data by providing data management, QA/QC, hosting, and reporting services.

We use climate and hydrologic models to support environmental impact assessments and determine current and future potential water availability. Our expertise is also used to support resource development and management, by providing third party reviews of hydrologic studies on behalf of industry and government clients (e.g., feasibility studies, permitting review processes, and permit compliance reviews).
