February 5, 2020 by

Hatfield has decades of experience providing environmental services to the pulp and paper sector. We have worked continuously with most western Canadian pulp mills to implement federal Environmental Effects Monitoring (EEM) since the program’s inception in 1992, and support permitting and monitoring at provincial and federal levels. Our specialists remain current on all relevant domestic and environmental requirements and best practice.

Hatfield has decades of experience providing environmental services in the pulp and paper sector. Our services include environmental assessments and permitting, aquatic effects monitoring, trace contaminant monitoring, effluent plume delineations, basin bathymetric mapping, aquatic ecology studies, and expert reviews. Since the federal Environmental Effects Monitoring program began in 1992, we have helped the majority of pulp mills in western Canada maintain compliance and implement cost-effective, scientifically defensible programs. Our specialists remain current on all relevant domestic and environmental requirements and best practice.
