What’s new at Hatfield

As a result of continued growth, and to better service our clients, Hatfield has upgraded its information technology infrastructure by implementing a new accounting/project management software and internal database system.

Hatfield’s new accounting system, Ajera, provides real time access to project data, which will facilitate better project management. Project data (timesheets, expenses etc.) are entered directly into the system via a web-based interface, which can also generate a variety of reports. The new software also provides tools to manage project resources including staff and equipment that directly integrate with the other accounting, timesheet and project management components.

In addition, Hatfield recently launched a new web-based data management system to improve document and resource sharing between offices in Canada and internationally. The intranet was developed by Hatfield’s Environmental Information Systems department after a user needs analysis with all Hatfield staff. The Intranet enables Hatfield staff to easily search and find corporate information, and facilitates collaboration on projects and business development activities. The new intranet is fully functional in all Hatfield offices, including our international locations in Botswana, Indonesia and Laos PDR.
