Safety is Hatfield’s number one priority during the planning and execution of all activities. Hatfield works hard to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, both in the office and in the field. Accidents can be prevented, and Hatfield’s goal is to maintain a high level of health and safety performance where preventable accidents are avoided.
Since operations began in 1974, Hatfield has maintained an outstanding health and safety record, embracing guidelines that often improve upon standards set by government and industry. Our health and safety program promotes continual improvement with the goal of maintaining zero health or safety reportable incidents annually.
In Canada, our Occupational Health and Safety Management Program (OHSMP) has successfully passed audits using the Energy Safety Canada process for Provincial Certificates of Recognition (COR), and we currently have CORs in British Columbia and Alberta. Drawing from the strengths of our long-standing OHSMP, we enhance the security and well-being of our team, our clients, and our partners in the community.
Hatfield also maintains registration with key third-party pre-qualification providers (such as Avetta, ISNetworld, and ComplyWorks) that regularly verify the high standards of our safety program for select clients.
In our international work and offices, we maintain the same performance goals and adapt our programs to ensure compliance with local requirements.
