Hatfield welcomes all new staff in Vancouver, and Fort McMurray!

Spring is here, and we are thrilled to welcome new staff to our office locations across Canada! As one of BC’s Top Employers 2022, and one of Canada’s Top Small and Medium Employers (SME) for 2022, we are proud of our exceptional team and to be able to continue to grow and diversify our team throughout the year.
Joining our team in Vancouver:
Bruno Ferraz Bregnoles, BA, joins our Administration team as a Marketing Specialist. He has worked in the traffic industry, education, fitness, and legal sectors. He has a wealth of experience with web design, social media marketing, photo and video production, email marketing campaigns, search engine expertise, and so much more
Daniel Santillana has a Youth Worker Diploma and joins our Admin team as an Equipment Coordinator. Daniel has extensive experience working around equipment management, safety audits, maintenance work, wildlife activity, and so much more.
Garatt Kerr B.Sc. Hons. (Environmental Biology), joins our IEM team as an Environmental Technician/Construction Monitor. His education and work experience includes field work, water, soil and air sampling and analyses. He is skilled in restoration ecology, native plant identification, sampling (air, water, and soil), GIS use and application, and environmental legislation interpretation
Jake Dytnerski, B.Sc. (Honour’s Marine Biology), PhD (Biological Sciences), joins our IEM team as an Environmental Specialist. He has experience developing in situ experiments, collecting data on marine organisms, collecting marine organisms, studying seasonal effects and implications on an ecosystem, spatial and temporal comparisons of benthic invertebrate communities, and so much more.
Sami Barak, B.Sc. (Environmental Engineering) and M.Sc. (Environmental and Water Resource Engineering), joins our IEM team as an Environmental Technician/Construction Monitor. She has worked on several projects focused environmental impact, monitoring, and project management. She also has experience with construction monitoring, auditing plans to obtain permit authorizations, mitigation plans, sampling, and analysis (water, air, and soil), contaminated site investigation and remediation.
Joining our team in Fort McMurray:
Ethan Lasci has a Fish and Wildlife Technologist Diploma and joins our IEM team as an Aquatics and Fisheries Technician. He has experience working for provincial parks in a public education/outreach capacity as well as a bird and wildlife specialist. He is highly skilled in identifying invasive species of fish, creel surveys, biological sampling, fish sampling, gill netting, shore seine netting, and so much more.
