Karen Krull, MBA, CPHR, joins Hatfield’s senior leadership team as Leader of People and Culture based in our Calgary office

Hatfield is thrilled that Karen Krull, MBA, CPHR has joined our senior management team as Leader of People and Culture. Based out of our Calgary office, Karen will play an integral role in Hatfield’s corporate leadership, with a focus on the development and management of Human Resources practices and systems, including culture strategy, people development, organizational effectiveness, conflict resolution, policy and compliance, recruiting and retention, and compensation.

With a Master of Business Administration from Athabasca University and as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources, Karen is adept at building culture in organizations, while ensuring that a company’s business goals and strategy align with its cultural values. She has over 15 years of experience in senior human resources roles in a variety of sectors, including various national private health organizations and financial institutions.

With close to 50 years of environmental consulting experience, Hatfield prides itself on its unique culture consisting of scientific excellence, professional development, inclusion and diversity, and down-to-earth management practices, with the goal of being a workplace that attracts and retains great people. Our focus on culture made it imperative that we hire someone who could help to shape and support our practices around people, culture, and leadership.
