Arriving in Canada in 2004 with undergraduate and postgraduate science degrees from his homeland of Scotland, Angus has worked on many of BC’s most interesting and high-profile infrastructure projects. Angus enjoys a career spanning multiple sectors, from rapid transit to hydroelectric generation and distribution, and ports and marine development to major tunneling, bridge replacement, highway enhancement, pipelines, and airport expansion. He is appreciated for his astute and strategic mindset in helping Hatfield’s clients effectively navigate ever-evolving and complex environmental assessment and regulatory review processes – getting projects to a “yes.” Angus is responsible for our Infrastructure and Environmental Management Group, one of Hatfield’s largest and rapidly growing business units with a focus on environmental input to engineering design teams, baseline studies, environmental assessment, permitting, construction environmental management, and monitoring.
Angus has two energetic kids that keep him on his toes, and he enjoys camping trips with his family in their 1980’s VW Camper Van. When not working, he likes to spend time in the great Canadian outdoors, and of course the occasional obligatory Scottish malt whisky.
