Hydrogeology

April 4, 2020 by

Hatfield has extensive experience characterizing hydrogeologic conditions and groundwater flow regimes. We’re experts in designing, implementing, and managing subsurface investigations and groundwater monitoring programs. Our monitoring programs are used to characterize baseline conditions, assess groundwater availability and groundwater-surface water interactions, inform numerical modelling, and support permitting and groundwater licensing requirements.

We use hydrogeologic models like MODFLOW to support environmental impact assessments, understand dewatering requirements, determine current and future potential groundwater availability and support environmental flow needs studies. We ensure the integrity of our clients’ data by providing data management, QA/QC, hosting, and reporting services. Our expertise is also used to support resource development and management, by providing third party expert reviews of hydrogeologic studies on behalf of industry and government clients (e.g., feasibility studies, permitting review processes, and permit compliance reviews).

Why Hatfield?

Hatfield provides cost-effective programs to meet your specific needs, from permit application, to groundwater supply, permit compliance monitoring, and reporting. We offer sound strategic advice and customized solutions to support clients navigating projects through complex regulatory processes. We pride ourselves in delivering quality hydrogeologic services that meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of reviewing agencies.
