Originally from Ireland, Ann holds a Master’s degree in Town and Country Planning and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Management. After graduating, she worked primarily on Environmental Impact Assessments for large infrastructure and extractive projects in Ireland for seven years, prior to relocating to Canada.
Ann joined Hatfield’s Infrastructure and Environmental Management Group in 2014, and since then has had extensive experience leading the environmental management of large infrastructure projects in BC, including clean energy projects, road developments, water supply projects, and pipeline projects. Ann excels working in large and fast-paced multi-disciplinary project teams across a range of infrastructure sectors. She has developed a reputation for seamless integration with infrastructure construction teams, and brings a highly collaborative team-oriented approach to identifying, discussing, and resolving environmental issues and constraints ahead of time. She is a certified Environmental Professional in Canada in the fields of Environmental Manager and Policy and Legislation. Ann also serves on the Board of Directors of the British Columbia Construction Roundtable (BCCR).
In her spare time, Ann enjoys exploring the BC coastline, hiking, boating, stand-up paddleboarding and open water swimming, or enjoying a nice smooth Irish whiskey.
