Winner of EMA of BC Emerging Environmental Professional Award – Marc VanderVeer

Hatfield is pleased to announce Marc VanderVeer as this year’s recipient of the Environmental Managers Association of British Columbia’s Emerging Environmental Professional Award. This coveted award recognizes members who have led projects and demonstrated an outstanding contribution to environmental progress. Marc is a key member of our Infrastructure and Environmental Management team who provides innovative problem solving and solutions-based environmental management requiring exceptional planning, organization and communication, and attention to detail to satisfy regulatory, stakeholder, Indigenous, owner and contractor environmental commitments. He has gained a solid reputation for building a culture of awareness and a pragmatic approach to addressing environmental issues and constraints facing construction projects, which are often challenging and with tight schedules. In the fast-paced infrastructure sector, Marc is quickly excelling and establishing himself as an emerging leader in the environmental field. Congratulations, Marc, for this well-deserved award, and we look forward to continuing to support the Association over the coming year.
