Regional Aquatics Monitoring Program (RAMP)
Since 2003, Hatfield has undertaken the management and implementation of the Regional Aquatics Monitoring Program (RAMP) in the Athabasca oil sands region of northeastern Alberta, Canada. RAMP is an industry funded, multi-disciplinary program initiated in 1997 to monitor the health of rivers and lakes in relation to ongoing oil sands development. more>>
Environmental Effects Monitoring (Pulp & Paper and Mining Sectors)
Hatfield is a leader in the design and implementation of federal Environmental Effects Monitoring (EEM) programs for pulp and paper mills and metal mines, as well as to satisfy the requirements of their provincial permits. Environmental Assessment and Monitoring of Oil Sands Development
The Athabasca oil sands of northern Canada are a significant component of the world’s petroleum resources, about one-third the size of known reserves of conventional crude oil in the entire world.
