Mark-Drake Award Hatfield Consultants Ltd. was the recipient of the 2000 Mark-Drake Award for International Cooperation. This award is presented by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Alliance of Manufacturers and Exporters InterCanada, in Recognition of Excellence in Communicating Private Sector Contributions to national Cooperation Issues. We were presented with this award for our Agent Orange studies in Viet Nam. The MARK-DRAKE Award was presented at the 9th Annual Canadian Awards for International Cooperation during ceremonies in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, September 18, 2000. The Alliance of Manufacturers and Exporters Canada, in collaboration with the Canadian International Development Agency, presents this award to a Canadian firm that has, in the past year, best communicated to Canadians the benefits, for Canada and the world, of international cooperation. The award is presented to the Canadian firm whose communication initiative best encompasses the precepts of sound communication (identification of context, objectives, messages, environment, target audiences, and results). Also of importance is the originality of the concept, the quality of the material and its execution, and the level of media interest and coverage. This International Cooperation Award is sponsored by SR Telecom. |
